The Board of Trustees are seeking an experienced Chief Executive or Senior Leader to drive operational efficiency, compliance, and strategic growth, ensuring that we continue to make a lasting impact. As Chief Executive, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing the charity’s day-to-day operations, ensuring financial sustainability, governance, compliance, and organisational effectiveness. You will work closely with the Board of Trustees to implement strategic initiatives, optimise processes, and lead a high-performing team of volunteers and staff.

The Chief Executive will be accountable to the Board of Trustees for overall performance in line with the agreed strategy, and keeping trustees informed and consulted about key operational matters, risks and opportunities.

Key contacts:
The post-holder will regularly work with WAND trustees, staff, volunteers and service users. The Director must develop positive relationships with funders, partner organisations, and other service providers.
